The -D type uses municipal tap water as feed water, while the -MV type uses pure water, distilled water, reverse osmosis water, and type 2 water as feed water to produce high-quality ultrapure water. The quality of the produced water meets and exceeds type 1 water quality standards of ASTM, CLSI, and GB-T6682-2008 for water used in analytical laboratory.
